Monoline Snowflake

Been home for “snowpocalypse” in the Pacific Northwest. ❄️ While digging trough some files, I found this monoline snowflake designed for a collection of ski and winter designs for work.

Snowflakes are awesome graphics to design. Here’s a little tip, use the polygon tool in Adobe Illustrator to build out a grid to work from. I used a 6 sided polygon as my base grid for the snowflake and added all the detail elements to one stem and duplicated it over to the other stems using only strokes.
