Art Student Exhibition Postcard

Paper quilled elephant inspired by Hinduism and Buddhism. The elephant head symbolizes great intellect and wisdom. Choosing the elephant head also represented a sense of community, seeing that elephants are usually seen in a herd. With this in mind, the elephant was a perfect representation of an exhibition showcasing the work of a creative community.

Process included cutting each paper strip, illustrating the elephant and ornate designs, photographing the artwork and then working into the design of a postcard.
