Warm-up sketch: Vinnie Paul CFH

I’ve got some big projects on the boil at the moment and I’m really excited to share them with you soooooooon. In the meantime here’s some warm-up sketches I did of tub-bashing snake-wrangling Vinnie Paul. He was always one of my favourite drummers growing up, keeping it fat and simple. I once lost a walkman which had Vulgar Display Of Power in it... and I was mostly bummed about losing the album. I always dug his signature model 14x8” snare, which had that perfectly gross snake-skin on it. I also remember watching a doco where he went to the shops and literally filled a trolley with Jagermeister. I reckon he lived a wild life.
