UI Design Practice : Chicwish

I’ve done some random web design now and again, but this is my first full-fledged web design project. I decided to redesign an apparel website/shop, given my background in fashion. Chicwish is a womenswear brand selling out of Hong Kong, the US, and Australia. What I love most about the brand is it’s (a.) pretty cost-efficient for the quality, and (b.) very trend-forward for the price point. They cover a decent range of styles, from frilly and feminine to clean and modern. Chicwish’s product provided plenty of good content for a beautiful redesign.

One more thing that I love about Chicwish - they really bring their shoppers to the forefront. The current website along with my redesign incorporates user-submitted images throughout the website. These images give prospective customers both a better idea of product quality and some inspiration for styling full outfits. Lots of fashion bloggers shop and review the brand, so Chicwish ends up with a collection of editorial-level photos featuring Chicwish product.
