Wrigleyville Ivy Whales

Back story: I wanted to capture the iconic ivy at Wrigley Field and honor the heritage of baseball that has taken place within it's friendly confines. The short lived Federal League gave us the eloquently named "Chicago Federals" at Weeghman Park (not yet named Wrigley Field). But for one season in 1914-15, they were known as the Whales! This seemed like a much more interesting thread to unravel.

And that's how you get a non descript Whale riding an ivy leaf. Play ball!
