Caduceus Cellars
Ex 6 - Caduceus Cellars
Back at it again! @Erik Cruz chose the Temecula wineries as inspiration for the 6th @Magnetic Creative design exploration project. Since he left it relatively open to interpretation, I decided to work on a product page for a wine made by the Arizona Vineyard known as Caduceus Cellars. James Maynard Keenan (of Tool, Puscifer, and other rad projects) created and runs Caduceus Cellars with friends and family, and all of that is what drew me to it.
My immediate goal in this exploration was to create a scrolling experience that moved in more than one direction. Using a rotating bottle some how was another goal because I had been toying with animating mock-ups. The page is meant to display the particular wine's story to the viewer in three stages. I apologize for the quick pace of the animation, but I wanted to display all three stages while still keeping the file size under 10MB. I had fun with it, and I hope it is fun to watch.
I've attached a full pixel JPG that shows each stage for those of you itchin' to pause the video to read the details.
