WWII - 80 year logo

My entry to 2018’s logotype contest for commemorating 80 years after the second world war. The museum of war history in Gdańsk made a contest for a logotype. My concept is somewhat of a retro styled logo, with diagonal lines as fillers. In the center we see a symbol of Poland, the white Eagle. Around the rim are the details and a big infinite 8.
