I was killing time on Youtube and I came across video by Vox about the lack of transparency when it comes to pricing in the health industry. Healthcare costs are soaring and hospitals can continue to raise prices without consequence if patients can’t vote with their wallet.

The basic idea of this app is to use crowd-sourced data to provide to consumers easy access to pricing data so that the basic principle of supply and demand can help stabilize rising healthcare costs. This is just an exploration into what that might look like.
