Frutti di mare spread from my Home Italian cookbook. The illustration style is inspired by Deruta ceramics, a centuries-old ceramic style specific to Deruta, Italy. The colors, shapes and mirroring pattern are all iconic to these ceramic vases. For the chapter opener spreads, I created custom patterns inspired by the category.
