I hate shellfish.
BUT
I would kill for a plate of Clams Bulháo Pato
I probably eat mussels maybe once every fince years. Probably. And probably at a beer house. After a few beers.
Bulháo Pato was introduced to me by my wife in Portugal.
She insisted I taste the sauce with bread. I must have been hungry as I obliged. We ordered another plate. Its that good.
Why Clams Bulháo Pato?
Bulháo Pato was a poet whom is now known more for this dish than his poetry. He is accredited with spreading the word of this beautiful dish as far back as the 19th Century.
