So, Saturday was the Amped Hack Day that was put on as part of the Web Directions USA conference. Some friends and I participated in the mobile category. The premise, for those unfamiliar with hack days, was that we would have 10 hours to complete a challenge. We chose to build a mobile app using open web standards. Our team ended up winning best overall mobile app from Palm and we came in a very close second for best overall app out of all categories. We’re finishing the app and will be releasing it soon.
