Coded Website Opening Animation

I saw this awesome opening animation from Alberto Conti and thought that it would be cool to see it live. So I coded it with a bit of HTML & CSS and animated it with the GSAP library because I like how the easings look like.

The animations are handled by JavaScript but it animates CSS properties to give a really smooth looking transition. :)
So it has also a really good performance!

Because I focused on the main animations the website isn't really responsive and I also removed the things like the logo, navigation and the slider. But I think that shouldn't bother. :)
