BOATIVE - LOGO PROPOSAL

Bidding on projects or participating in contests is always a risk. Sometimes you feel like the clients don't get you or they just prefer buying generic stuff. This was a proposal for a shop that offers products and services related to boats. I created a custom typeface (inspired by Aviano) where the letter B is a trident that starts in the center part of the letter E and made it a bit anchor-ish. Did the client miss a good logo here?
