5 ways you can make a deeper connection with your following

Think differently about social media where it should be more of a place of giving than receiving. It's not about how many followers you have, but the connection you make with the ones who already follow you.

Here are a few ideas for you to make a deeper connection with your following that I go over in my 30-Day Instagram Challenge Course.

👄Ask people what they want, then give it to them. By asking this question in your stories, you might get some unexpected answers that may be your key to Instagram success.

- Offer constructive criticism and advice. Instead of leaving another boring comment, why not go deeper? Tell them what you like and why or go into their DM's to mention anything you see that could be improved.

- Bring on guests for a live stream since both of you blast a notification to your followers for double exposure. This not only allows for personal growth and friendship but is an excellent way to get new followers and even get on the explore page.

- Do a collab with someone who has fewer followers than you. Find someone in a different niche or style to work on a piece together. Announce your partnership, work on it live, post your process shots along with the final image for maximum exposure.

- DM people from their Stories. People are starting to absorb more content from Stories then the grid, so it makes sense to leave a video DM since it's quicker. This helps the algorithm know that this person is a friend, not just a follower so they will more likely see your posts.
