Controlling Cancellations

We noticed a correlation between cancellations and how far in the future the booking date is. This caused a lot of issues in capacity allocation and planning. Simply removing future dates meant letting down a lot of serious users.
This is an experiment where we ask the users to provide a small advance payment as a token of intent for booking on dates that are more than 3 days away. The idea is that serious users would be okay with the fees and users who are yet unsure will be deterred.
Success of this feature will be tracked by looking at overall delivered jobs.
