Wood Cuts

So, our wedding invites will be fold-outs that are held shut by string and a small tree branch cut "medallion"(that doesn't seem like the right word, but its all I can think of). This is a design that will be stamped onto the front of each medallion. #1 or #2?

Attached is a screen grab showing the design only - I hope there won't be this much distress on the actual wood, but it could turn out gritty because of the wood texture.
