A children's book of poems about the Mexican state of Oaxaca and its culture.
I illustrated two Tehuanas, dressed in traditional hand embroidered dresses and headdresses. The guy on the next shot is the Zapotec god of rain and thunder, Cocijo —also known as Tláloc in central México or Chaac in the south east—, surrounded by agave, biznaga and organ pipe cactus.

If you ever go to México, you should visit Oaxaca.
