Hey all, lately I find myself drawing on top of portraits and game screenshots in order to further my knowledge of depth. I've been torn on this. I know some people don't lean on source images quite as hard as this and I truly admire anyone who can draw the human form by memory. For me, it's been a life long struggle. By tracing and observing how light hits the face and other objects, I've been able to add "something" else to the image while learning more about figure drawing and lighting.
