MegaMan 7

This is the line art for an spot illustration of gutsman from the original videogame. Just like with MegaMan and Cutsman, I decided to make some alterations. For instance, I gave his neck a sort of harness to visually break up the black that's in his chest. I think gives off the idea that he's strong and that he can take a lot of punishment. This makes sense because in the story his original purpose were for construction details.

In addition, I wanted to add some detail and articulation to his shoulders and underarms. I thought this would be a good time to move away from the original design a little and add some round joints to the robot characters. My aim is to create a sort of stock guide to how all of the robots are design when it come to basic parts. The round joints here are an example of that. It's not something that I think helps with believability.

In any case I'm open for illustration freelance opportunities. Please check my profile for a link to my blog/portfolio or through my other social media locations.
