Selective Sync for Cloud Sources

"Selective Sync for Cloud Sources" addresses 2 main user problems. As a customer, I want to:

1. Sync any collection or column from a cloud source
2. Shield sensitive data (like personally identifiable information) from hitting Segment before even going to my destinations

We aimed to provide users with more granularity in choosing what data is sent from their Sources to Segment.

One real-life constraint was the existence of an older “Selective Sync for Warehouses” feature. This particular design challenge was to maintain a consistent feel within the app while re-purposing that component’s main UX patterns and driving forward with Evergreen UI improvement efforts.
