CarRegistration.com (formerly known as CaReg), is an online DMV alternative for vehicle registration, title transfers, and more. Their original site's look-and-feel was very similar to the California DMV website which was done intentionally to show users they are a trusted DMV alternative. Unfortunately, it had the opposite effect; many users felt they were being misled and failed to see the value in CaReg's services.

Three29 was brought in to take the site to the next level, having already improved the backend functionality over the years. Trust, security, and enterprise-level branding were very important concepts for us to achieve with their redesign. We introduced a new logo, overhauled their branding from top-to-bottom, and created a more trustworthy and user-friendly online experience.
