Sombrero which means “Hat” is a very if it’s a talented puertorican band. Why Sombrero? You may ask... well the lead singer of the band @vicdeynes is known for always wearing different hats for all of he’s events/show and that’s where the name originated from.

Now the you know the origin of the name you can better understand the design of the logo. The concept from the beginning was too incorporate the hat of course with some musical elements. I ultimately decided to go with the guitar pick because it was subtle enough to were the viewer needs to see it in a more creative way for them realize what it actually going on. The hat and the guitar pick ended up matching prettying good together and just felt like a more unique and natural look for the logo, without falling into the regular stereotype band logo.
