Pigment • Japan 2018

More from my Japan 2018 series.

My friend Ming suggested a place called Pigment in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. It has “over 4200 colors of pigments, more than 200 antique ink sticks and 50 kinds of animal glues”, wow. I fell in love with color all over again and the stunning interior by Kengo Kuma is an absolute dream. We had the opportunity to paint there as well with their handmade watercolors. Funny enough only hoped to spend only 20 mins there, and we were there for 2 hours.
