First Light Films

First Light Films is the studio produced artistically daring and commercially viable auteur-driven feature films for a global audience. It is founded in China and seek to create stories and characters which reflect and transcend their culture. 
The brand name represents a metaphor for a new era and youthful energy that's why the goal was to develop strong and fresh logo design. It was important to not use cinematic metaphors such as a film, a projector because we needed to avoid cliches. 
We suggested concept represented a star which rays compose the silhouette of a camera lens. The sign is minimalistic and has proper construction. All elements are built according to construction rules. The font is strong and stresses the professional attitude. The blue colour is stood out the company among competitors and emphasize the brand nature.
