I recolored an illustration I made about a month ago. I think a primary palette works best here because it can be either playful or sexy.
Originally "PLAYBOI" was outlined in a dark stroke, but I found eliminating it added some depth that was lacking. For fun I experimented with a dot pattern that also adds dimension and interest.
Attached is my source of inspiration: an abandoned 90s Playboy that I plucked from a box on the side of a street in Manhattan. I also included an early sketch and the full artwork (on which you can see the dot pattern if you zoom in).
