Story App Experiment

Over my holiday break I started work on a new internal design system for our team to use - using an 8-point grid as the foundation. The first thing I did was spend a couple of hours creating proof of concept screens to demonstrate how the layouts might work.

I've attached a quick progress shot to show how little the layout and spacing actually changed from wire to completion. I used Material icons for the sake of quickness, but I'm still the in process of deciding on the best approach for our icons. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
