Beware the Strings Attached

A good reminder to myself. Recently there have been several occasions where I feel obligated to do things because of previous generosity. I believe that true generosity doesn't allow for any later obligation especially when the things given in generosity aren't asked for or even wanted but insisted upon. It's also a reminder to not let people get in the way of what's is best for myself and the people I love no matter if  it can be called "the right thing to do". If being the bigger person will later harm the relationships that are much more important then I believe it's not "the right thing to do". Enough ranting...

When I was younger I used to draw logos from skateboard companies, drum companies, and bands all over everything. Its want uncommon to turn in homework assignments with logos sketched around the outside of the assignment. From an early age I loved hand lettering and typeography but most of my work recently doesn't really include these. I wanted to make something that was strictly hand lettering and typeography with a touch of Illustration.
