Batonnet Typeface II

I couldn't begin a new year of work without posting a look at my Type@Cooper project from the summer — Batonnet, a friendly text face intended for cookbooks. Type@Cooper was the highlight of my 2018, and it opened my eyes to how learning to design type is a lifelong pursuit.

Attached also is a look at a local chef's first cookbook for which I rounded out the roman character set back in the fall, so that Batonnet's inaugural use would be the very thing it was designed for. (Cookbook was designed by Lib Ramos.)

Batonnet isn't commercially available, but I look forward to continuing to tinker with it in 2019 and beyond :)
