Decorations

I decided to create one more festive illustration as these days we really want to have positive bright emotions. And guess what was I inspired by choosing the style?

This summer when I was in Lisbon I attended the exhibition of Roy Lichtenstein artworks and I thought «Man, you’d take the first place on Dribbble for sure». I love his minimalistic style and the way contrast lines add expression. Nowadays it seems art of 50s-60s still has a strong influence on illustrators. But as it’s not interesting to me to take the existing style and use it as it is, I created the combination of several approaches. Being a color lover there are many colors and working in Procreate I’m always fascinated with the ability to use multiple looks-like-real brushes that add life to illustration.

Are you a fan of that creative times back in the middle of the previous century? I’ll be glad to discuss it! 🙂

Aaand, have awesome holidays!
