Some websites use arrow with accordions to signify initial state as down-arrow to signify more content below on clicking. Other websites use up-arrow as initial state to signify closed view and current status of the preview box.
I feel in these scenarios, plus and minus symbols work best to avoid confusions.

I am trying something new. I feel Daily UI is bigger ask for designer who have full time jobs. I am taking the challenge by going more granular. I will post small web UI components everyday. This will also be great exercise on strategizing modular UI components that can scale.
