Museu Marítim de Barcelona

I designed a logo inspired by the many roofs from one of the many Catalan museums, Museu Marítim de Barcelona.
From the many 'M' shaped roofs of the building I got the 'M' symbol, the 'wavy' pattern is inspired by the 'shipyard' which where the museum is located.
The logo can be used as a single symbol, or with a fusion with typography.
Blue color represents the nuances of the nearby sea.
