Liverpool Bar - Logo

Unsolicited logo and branding exploration for the redesign of a local bar called Liverpool made as part of a personal project. I was not commissioned.

For the logo redesign, I wanted to go towards a more modern, elegant and youhtful look to represent the brand while keeping elements of their current logo (the crown, which I re-designed).
I decided to go with a dark purple to show wealth and luxury, and a yellow-ish color to represent friendliness, youth, extroversion warmth and happiness.
I went with a bold, geometric sans serif typeface for a simple, modern and elegant look as well as for legibility and to allow for printing on clothes, glasses, etc.
