Planit Branding

Hey guys,

So Im working on a rebrand for a travel company and trying to create something modern and simple. Possibly with a mark or incorporate something into the wordmark itself.

Personally I prefer version 1, but the client isn't sure about the 'map markings' under "plan".

I wanted to show something that helps emphasise the 'planning' of the trip since the website caters for the entire trip: flights, hotel, car rental and offers holiday packages. A lot of the ideas the client likes are more focussed on planes which makes the brand look more like an airline.

Which one do you guys lean toward? Any feedback is appreciated :)
