Bllo Vegan Recipe Concept

I research feature/strategies of the current existing recipe apps. One opportunity I found is that most recipe apps lack focus and differentiation. Therefore, I decided to design an original vegan recipe app that focuses on targeted users and provide tailoring features. The app is going to solve the problem of making vegan diet tasty and nutrient balanced.

The solution/feature will focus on:

Peer review/recommendation

Nutrition monitoring and goal setting

Behavioural change for a vegan lifestyle

The most interesting UI patterns I used for this app is good old tinder swipe interaction. People said what you see is what you get, which is quite fitting for vegan food. Especially, taking photos of a vegan recipe is popular on social media. In-depth, I also colour-coded nutrition because scientists have approved vegetable colour literally matched certain nutrient.

The End result is Bllo, a recipe "dating" app. You can also search for the "cuties" you loved and put them all in your personal recipe page.
