For a local massage parlor business. Owner knew she wanted to emulate a combination of Hawaiian and Japanese culture in her branding, which I thought was pretty cool.

Japanese glyph in the orchid means "harmony".

I broke out the ink brushes for this, but found it really difficult to get the shapes I was after. See the sketches pic. Ended up having to digitally finesse the letterforms way more than I wanted. Japanese ink brushing style is definitely a skill of its own and it kicked my butt.
