Dashboard for Control Tower

After signing in, drone pilots are greeted with an initial dashboard that gets them going with the most popular tasks. User research showed that pilots were starting up the app for one of a few reasons:
1) To start flying a drone
2) To resume uploading photos & video from a drone
3) Download site info & maps before heading out into the field

Having the iOS app connect to the drone and upload photos involves a pretty complex process that could fail for a variety of real-world reasons (you walk out of range of your drone, the battery dies, firmware issues, etc), so we found it necessary to go from a simple green checkmark or red X to a checklist that distilled engineer-jargon into something that made sense for the pilots.
