Toggle Switch Progress Bar

Working on an admin platform can pose many challenges. This particular challenge dealt with presenting the user a “working state” when a toggle switch has been click. The problem was that after the toggle was clicked, it could take up to 30 seconds😳until all of the data was fetched from the backend. We couldn’t have the user sitting there spamming the toggle switch because they didn’t see visual feedback that their action was registered. By waiting that long, the user would assume something wasn’t working properly.

To solve for this I merge the concept of a progress bar with the toggle switch to emphasize to the user that the action was registered and the platform was working on it in the background.
