Good Measure Brand Identity
To develop a new brand identity, NUU partnered with Good Measure, an organization based in Houston that connects teams of volunteer creatives with nonprofits that need help.
The work is done in sprints: intense three-day events that garner things like new branding, website, photography and communications strategy for the nonprofit, *as long* as they fit within a certain financial bracket—and can prove that they truly need the help pro-bono. With a new strategy, new identity, new tools and new vigor, NPOs and cause-based organizations can scale, develop and work to change the world. Maybe even one day (because of the work accomplished), they could hire an agency and contribute back to the creative economy.
The direction uses typography as medium to communicate the mission of Good Measure. Color is primarily restrained to black, white and neons for heightened focus on the messaging within the brand, and letterforms are reshaped and manipulated to emphasize the call-to-action.
Agency folk, freelancers, contract or in-house — this isn't a NUU project. It's for anyone willing and able and eager to help. If you're interested, get involved!
