hack.UVA Logo Design Concept

This was my logo design process for UVA's hackathon, hack.UVA. It incorporates three elements of our hackathon brand: 1) our establishment as the Virginia hackathon, and our location in Charlottesville, the heart of Virginia, 2) the historical significance of the Rotunda, a famous building at UVA, and 3) our hackathon's emphasis on innovation.

We ended up rebranding our hackathon this year, but this was the logo concept I came up with for our previous brand.
