Had bit of time this arvo to work on this again. The massively simplified A in the first one felt too awkward and just wasn't distinguishing the letter-form enough to be recognisable. I tried including some of the crossbar in the A, but it felt to obvious and ruined the nice movement of all the vertical strokes in the middle. Anyway, this seems to work a little better, for now. I'm sure I'll change my mind again later.

As for the red? I just thought it looked awesome. Don't think I'll use it in my final version though.
