LOGO:
Uncanny is a crime story with a science fiction twist from award-winning writer Andy Diggle. It's the story of a con man who can steal someone's abilities with a touch, who gets in over his head. For the logo, I wanted something with the perspective and three-dimensional aspects of a traditional superhero comic because of the main character's powers, but wanted a serif font often found in crime stories. I added the few bars jutting out and cutting each other off to represent that not everything was right or in control.

GRAPHIC NOVEL:
For the cover, I wanted a design that would be reminiscent of a series of crime novels, with imagery that could repeat across the series. I liked the idea of using double exposure-style imagery to represent the character taking the abilities of others within himself as the main design element throughout the book's design.
