Thirty logos challenge 28 - Fashionista.

Brief: "Greetings, We're so happy to work with you on our logo. Fashionista is a women's fashion app that pairs your current wardrobe with amazing deals at local stores around you. For example, a user could enter two pairs of jeans and one yellow shirt, and our app will return with other clothes that pair well with those jeans and shirt as well as complimented outfits.

We love a simple look for logo designs. One color background with a white logo would work well for us, specially for the app icon. We do need the logo to work as just an icon so that we can use it for our app."

With all that in mind I kept it simple. I wanted the symbol to resonate with devoted fashion followers. A synonym for "Fashionista" is a designer of haute couture.

I did my research and saw most had done clever dress, clothes hanger, thread and needle logos but that to me doesnt resonate couture. I didnt want this logo to resonate budget, affordable with the viewer although they show you deals. I wanted the app user to feel they were getting really expensive clothes for a deal. Fashionistas ussually spend alot to look good. So I went with a crown and diamonds. I feel that aligns nicely.
