Saving the Arctic: People Over Oil

Check out another screen of the website we designed here at Zajno to support 'Save the Arctic' project. The designs are pretty experimental as this is an experiment after all. Would be cool though if we could attract more attention to the problem.

So what's exactly the Arctic Oil problem and ‘Save the Arctic’ movement? In a nutshell, environmental organizations including Greenpeace fight against oil drilling in the Arctic to prevent environmental disasters oil extraction in the area is very likely to cause. The organizations have already succeeded in freezing the drilling project for two years. Now, they’re taking Arctic Oil to court, and they need our help.

Here at Zajno we feel strongly about this kind of issues, especially in case of environmental problems that threaten the future of the entire planet. We’d like to help. One way we could help as a design agency is creating a website to attract public’s attention, educate people about the problem, and you know, blow the whistle.

So this is our design experiment, a website to bring up the issue of Arctic Oil to protect wildlife, people and the planet. To save the planet for future generations. To choose people over oil. What you see above is a sneak peek into the website we came up with. That’s WIP though, stay tuned to see more!
