Typeface Design

Client Brief: To promote an area in New Zealand called Ponsonby.
Ponsonby is a lively place filled with restaurants and cafes, it's full of buzz, energy and enthusiasm.
The design approach was to take an element that was most commonly enjoyed and embraced in ponsonby, which is a cup of coffee. I decided on creating a Typeface which evoked the texture and feel of the hot coffee that pours out in a viscous delicious form.
