"Cleaning Toilets, Following Rules: A Migrant Child’s Days in Detention," a recent report from the New York Times, lists rules the children of migrants are being trained to follow at the many detainment centers around the US.

The current statistic for the amount of children detained is 13,000 in 2018, 2400 in 2017.
