Quick little avatar

Made up a quick new avatar illustration that kinda turned into longer and more than I planned and more space theme. Mostly made this cuz I’m excited I got an orange hat.

So every now and then it seems like I change it up a bit especially now some new friends have recently started following. So I’d like to share some old and new things.

Currently I’m in a season of reflection and already looking for the new year. Yep, that’s right. Last year I planned pretty well for where I was and what I was hoping for, but by the end of the year I had forgotten to plan my new year. FOMO and overwhelm we’re kicking in and for the first month of the year it was a terrible season. I didn’t share anything that whole time.

By February I got back on my feet but learned a lesson that I need to step back and not try crank out last minute projects.

I am feeling in a slump tbh, I can’t say I’m feeling great this season but I also can’t say I’m feeling bad.

Anyways some things about me. I’m a dad, a husband, an illustrator, and pro cloth diaper strapper. I’ve had only like 1 or 2 major leaks for our youngest.

My path to illustration is long and winding. Way too long for a single post. But always stay tuned as I post stories of my journey from time to time.

I’m from Ohio. I have blue hair, mostly dulled now, my kids are fans of dantdm and my elf character in D&D had blue hair so it’s awesome and I really like it. Blue and orange compete for my favorite color. Maybe because Leonardo and Michelangelo were my favorite turtles 🐢 idk.

Favorite movie: lots of Miyazaki (Totoro, Spirited Away, and Ponyo)

Favorite music: mostly ambient electronic stuff I can work to without lyrics.

Favorite food: honestly I don’t have one.
.
Books: I’ll share through stories. I got tons.

Many things I’m currently into are what my kids are excited about. Currently it’s Pokemon and tomodachi life.
