Philadelphia Flyers 50th Anniversary | Uniform Design

NHL season is kicking into gear, and with the Flyers throwin’ down with the Coyotes tonight, it’s fun to looking back on one of the coolest projects I got to take point on back in 2016!

In celebration of their 50-year history, our design team at adidas SLD had the opportunity to create the Flyers anniversary jersey and, working under creative director Dom Fillion, I was thrilled to design a uniform worn by my home-town team.

The goal was to introduce gold accents as a tribute to the club’s lineage of excellence and milestone achievement while respecting their iconic visuals and traditional aesthetic.
