Kult needed an engaging yet minimal blog that would adhere to their existing design language.

My approach started with highlighting what matters to the users. The use of fewer and simpler colours in the interface drives the eyes to bold photos; the content.
I also established a clear information architecture or content hierarchy. A section highlighting recent posts at the top. The second section beneath featuring primary posts and a sidebar featuring recommended posts (according to the previous user reads).
