Trying some space fillers for possible redesign of website

I enjoy white space. I love white space. But just a completely white website with a small icon in the middle of the website and black text under it? Feels a bit empty.

So this is a trial to see what could possible be done instead of just using a full color background (or gradient overlay over a background image) to see if this works.

If I like this idea enough it will most likely be used for the website redesign I´m currently working on for 2019 for my own site.
