Solarize Lowell Logo

This was a proposed redesign of the Solarize Lowell logo. Solarize is a local campaign intended to increase solar adoption in the City of Lowell, Massachusetts. Lowell is notoriously the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is known for its sprawling smokestacks, winding canals and brick mills. The city’s Sustainability Council hopes to rebrand the city as a modern, renewable energy gemstone in Massachusetts. This logo embodies those ambitions with the gear rising over the mill building.
